How to install drawer slide
1. For furniture drawers made by carpenters on site, drawer pulleys must be installed. We must first determine what kind of track the drawer is disorderly, determine the length of the drawer, and then select the size of the slide according to the corresponding specifications.
2. The installation mode of drawer can be divided into low drawer and inner drawer. The drawer panel of low drawer will still protrude after the drawer is fully pushed into the box, leaving it outside and not in a straight line up and down. The drawer panel of the inner drawer also enters it after the drawer is fully pushed into the box, and will not stay outside.
3. The drawer slide is divided into three parts: movable rail (inner rail), middle rail and fixed rail (outer rail)
4. Before the installation of the slide, the inner rail, that is, the movable rail, needs to be removed from the main body of the slide. Be careful not to damage the slide during removal. The disassembly method is very simple. Find the snap ring on the inner rail and gently take out the inner rail after pressing it.
5. Install the outer rail and middle rail in the separation slide on both sides of the drawer box first, and then install the inner rail on the side plate of the drawer. If it is finished furniture, the drawer box and drawer side plate are provided with holes punched in advance by the manufacturer for installation. If it is made on site, you need to punch your own holes.
6. Finally, install the drawer into the box. During installation, pay attention to press and hold the snap spring of the inner rail mentioned above, and then push the drawer into the box in parallel and slowly to the bottom. The movable rail and fixed rail have been linked, and the drawer can be pushed and pulled freely.
